Roof Top Tents

We proudly carry Burmis Tents, a Canadian owned and operated brand that provide the burliest Roof Top Tents (RTT) out there. These RTTs are designed with ease of use in mind, making setup just as simple as packing it away. With the roomy living space and protection provided from sleeping up high, you’ll never want to sleep on the ground again after experiencing a weekend away in a RTT. It might be summer, but there’s still snow and ice in the alpine to be explored. With ice axes, climbing tools, and crampons available for rent, we can outfit your mountaineering adventures during the summer. These rentals are perfect for locals to test out gear before purchasing or for visitors unable to travel with their entire setup.

Reservations, Payments, and ID

  • Rental charges must be paid in full at the time of reservation
  • Type of cards accepted – Visa and Mastercard online

Pick Up and Returns

  • Early Pick Ups: Gear can be picked up the night before your booking date, after 6pm. Please call Alpine Demo Centre (604-962-3228) for more details.
  • Return – Gear should be returned by 6pm on your last day of booking

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation policy: No charge for cancellations up to 48 hrs before booking date. Cancellations within 48 hrs are non-refundable. In case of no-show, 100 percent of the total amount paid will be charged. Please contact ADC with any questions regarding this.
  • Rescheduling can be done by our staff, customers need to call or email ADC

Security Deposits and Identification

Photo identification and a signed and approved credit card authorization is required for the security deposit of the rented equipment. You can also leave equivalent cash for the value of the equipment if you don’t have a credit card. If the equipment is not returned or is returned damaged, this deposit may be used to replace/repair the equipment.

Late, Damaged, or Lost Gear

Rental fees are based on the number of days the equipment is in the renter’s possession. Charges for the additional day commence after 6pm on the last day of the original booking. Weather conditions and the lack of use of the equipment rented will not change the rental fee in any way.

You can purchase Damage Insurance that covers damage of equipment through normal use. It does not cover loss, theft, personal injury or ski poles. Therefore, loss or theft will be billed at the retail rate.
